Survey: Middle-Market Firms Expect Growth in 2016

According to the annual American Express Survey of Midsized Companies, 73% of financial decision makers at middle-market companies expect the economy to grow and 75% expect the economy to have a positive impact on business prospects.

Veteran executive Robert B. Carter has been elected to the Board of Directors of New York Life Insurance Company, effective January 1, 2016, the company announced, according to a Business Wire press release.

Mr. Carter, 56, is the executive vice president of FedEx Information Services and chief information officer of FedEx Corporation. He also serves as co-chief executive officer and chief information officer, FedEx Corporate Services.
