ADM James “Sandy” Winnefeld

Retired four-star Admiral Sandy Winnefeld was the ninth vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and currently serves as chair of President Biden’s Intelligence Advisory Board. He served for 37 years in the U.S. Navy and was commander of U.S. Northern Command and of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). He currently serves on the boards of Raytheon Technologies, Molson-Coors Beverage Company, and Enterprise Holdings. He also is a professor at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Institute of Technology.
