The role of independent boards: “In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, every company is transforming into a technology-enabled enterprise. While each is on its own journey, all can benefit from understanding best practices in governance, developing improvement road maps and strengthening their governance muscles. Independent boards play a critical role in fostering this growth and maturity, equipping organizations with the frameworks to navigate both opportunities and challenges effectively. In an environment marked by unpredictability and the emergence of powerful new technologies reshaping the macro landscape, board members must be agile and offer guidance that balances the dual mandates of mitigating risks while driving shareholder and business value.”
