An independent mindset helps define real opportunities: “Private companies can embrace an independent mindset from day one. The goal is to activate a new class of independent directors for funders and founders that brings women closer to discerning the high-value companies from the overhyped, navigating the current economic landscape to find the best deals, leveraging access to customers for underestimated founders, influencing which problems get solved and how, getting first look at the newest innovations and reaping substantial financial returns and divert the flow of private board seats from 95% male to something more equitable.”
