Today's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) has stepped out of the server room and into the boardroom. The role is more strategic than ever — but there is a tendency for them to get "lost in the weeds" and find it difficult translating critical technical information that's digestible at the board-level.

If you don't always know how to interpret what your CISO is saying, or the right questions to ask to dive deeper, you're not the first to admit it. You should feel confident in the metrics the CISO is measuring, how they present them, and your ability to interpret key metrics in the context of strategic objectives. For you to truly understand the risk position of the company you sit on the board for, you need rapport with your CISO and confidence that the tools they're using are giving you an accurate and complete view of risk and compliance.

In this webinar, we'll hit on these hot topics:

  • Moving beyond the technical part of the CISO's role
  • Getting info from your CISO that supports overall strategic objectives
  • Getting trusted and valuable advice from your CISO
  • Developing KRIs that are the sounding board for your risk and security decision-making

Join Chris Murphey, Director of Customer Success at Galvanize, Allan Grafman, Audit Committee Chair for IDW Media Holdings, and David Shaw, Directors & Boards Publishing Director, for an informative session on how to achieve a higher understanding of critical technical information with your CISO.
