Paula Steiner to take over as CEO of Chicago’s Largest Private Company

Paula Steiner will succeed Patricia Hemingway Hall as CEO of Health Care Service Corp., Chicago’s largest private company, according to a Chicago Business article.
Steiner, 58, has three decades of experience at the parent company of Blue Cross Blue Shield Illinois. She will take over for Hemingway Hall in January. She currently serves as HCSC’s executive vice president and chief strategy officer. She also oversees the company’s external affairs, from government relations to advertising.
