Barbara G. Novick

Novick is a co-founder of BlackRock, the largest asset manager in the world. From the inception of BlackRock in 1988 until 2008, she headed the global client group and oversaw global business development. In 2009, she established BlackRock’s global public policy group to provide a voice for investors. From 2018 to 2020, she additionally oversaw BlackRock’s investment stewardship team. She transitioned from vice chairman to senior advisor in early 2021.l
