Laura Huffman
Huffman is in her current position since early 2020. Previously, she served as Texas’ state director for The Nature Conservancy (TNC). She was nationally recognized for her creation of TNC’s Cities Program. She also served as assistant city manager in both Austin and San Marcos, where she negotiated Austin’s 100-year water deal with the Lower Colorado River Authority.
