Stephane Bancel
Bancel has served as Moderna’s founding CEO since 2011. Moderna is a biotechnology company pioneering messenger RNA therapeutics and vaccines. Previously, he was CEO of the French diagnostics company bioMerieux SA. Earlier, he served in various leadership roles at Eli Lilly and Company. He currently serves on the boards of Qiagen N.V. and is a venture partner at Flagship Pioneering and a trustee of the Museum of Science in Boston.
