Inc. Magazine has released its 34th annual Inc. 500 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies in America.
Each year Inc. publishes its findings on the up-and-coming private companies. This year, a telecommunications company, Ultra Mobile, finds itself on the top of list while a couple of financial services and advertising and marketing companies help round out the top 10.

Other findings from the study include:
- Energy is the fastest-growing industry seeing an increase of 255% in 2015; followed by Media (247%), Advertising and Marketing (201%), Financial Services (166%) and Software (158%).
- California is the fastest-growing state by number of companies with 681; followed by Texas (423), New York (357), Florida (336) and Virginia (278).
- New York is the fastest-growing metro area by number of companies with 381; followed by Washington D.C. (279), Los Angeles (233), Chicago (204) and Atlanta (182).
