George leads the Advanced Analytics practice at RSM. In this role, he advises clients on both strategic and technology issues important to delivering value with data science.


Prior to being acquired by RSM, George was the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer for Junction Solutions, a B2B technology solution company serving mid-market clients with a focus on life sciences, supply chain and multi-channel retail. Over his 13 years at Junction Solutions, George had the opportunity to advise multiple clients on strategy, business intelligence and analytics, CRM system design for both B2B and B2C clients, as well as full system implementations of ERP solutions.


George has been published in several professional and trade journals and is a frequent seminar speaker. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and has written several manuals for Microsoft on Reporting and Business Analytics.

Dave Mahoney

Gioia Messinger

Gioia Messinger is a senior technology executive and experienced public and private corporate board director. She brings a diverse perspective as a thought leader and strategic visionary with deep technology, innovation, consumer marketing, manufacturing, M&A and digital transformation skills.

Messinger is the founder and principal of LinkedObjects, a strategic advisory services business that focuses on digital transformation brought about by AI and the Internet of Things. Previously, Messinger was founder and CEO of Avaak, Inc./Arlo Technologies, which created the home video security category and disrupted the traditional alarm-monitoring market. In 2018, Arlo was spun off in an IPO valued at about $1.6 billion.

Messinger serves on the boards of Guild Holdings and One Stop Systems Inc., and previously served on the board of Vicon.

David Shaw

Publishing Director, Directors & Boards

David Shaw is the Publishing Director of Directors & Boards and its sister publication, Family Business. With more than 30 years of experience in business-to-business and consumer media markets, he has served as an editor, publisher, publishing director, group publisher and group vice president of a variety of publications, trade shows, conferences and websites.

Prior to founding GRID Media, David served as senior vice president for Phillips Business Information Inc., where he oversaw nearly 100 discrete media properties, and helped build the business from $35 million to more than $100 million in annual revenues. He is a frequent author and speaker on issues related to business-to-business media, multi-generational family businesses and private and public company governance. He is married, with two grown children, one serving in the Navy and the other in law school.
